Common Questions
when do I book a newborn session?
Most families book at the end of their second trimester or beginning of their third. I reserve a limited number of newborns each month, so booking early ensures availability around your due date.
when do maternity sessions take place?
Typically at 28-32 weeks, when you are feeling your best and still comfortable.
when should i book my cake smash session?
The earlier the better - especially for outdoor cake smashes. I take a limited number of cake smashes per month.

Once your inquiry lands in my inbox, I'll send over session details and a booking link. Completing your retainer secures your date (I book a limited number of newborn + milestones each month to give every family the best experience).

This is where your vision comes to life. We'll chat through locations, wardrobe, styling and everything you need to feel confident and prepared. You'll also have access to my Rio, WI Studio for wardrobe try-ons or planning meetings. I'm always just an email or text away.
The Big day- Session day
Show up, breathe, and I'll take care of the rest. My sessions are intentionally calm, baby-led and family-centered - no rush, no stress. Your only job is to enjoy the moment with the people you love.
Gallery delivery + ordering appointment (Optional)
When your gallery is ready, you'll receive either:
- A Full Gallery (fully edited), or
- A Favorites Gallery depending on your session type and collection
Most families choose to meet in person or via Zoom for an ordering appointment to select heirloom albums, wall art and keepsakes. Average investment ranges from $1,800-$5,000 but appointments are always optional - simply an added service I love offering.
