I compiled a list of 25 activities for you to do with your children when the weather is not ideal or you just want something fun to do. When I spend time with families, I always like to ask the kiddos what they like to do and so many of these activities are on here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"692\" src=\"https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-1024x692.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-882\" srcset=\"https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-1024x692.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-300x203.jpg 300w, https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-768x519.jpg 768w, https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-1536x1038.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-2048x1384.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/finchmae.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_2369-1600x1081.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CREATIVE ACTIVITIES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Finger Painting- Let your kiddos explore all of the colors and textures. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DIY Playdough- Make homemade playdough and then see what you can create. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build A Fort- Gather up all of those blankets and pillows in the house to make one giant fort. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cardboard Creations- See what you can make out of those empty Amazon boxes. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puppet Show- Socks and mittens work wonders for creative imaginations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LEARNING ACTIVITES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alphabet Scavenger Hunt- Find objects throughout your house and yard that start with each letter. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooking Together- Make meals, homemade bread or cookies from scratch. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science Experiments- Dare to make a volcano?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Counting and Sorting- Use toys and household items to practice counting.
