Our newborn sessions can be held in your home or in my Rio, WI studio. Newborn sessions are more than just a session, these sessions are a celebration of your baby being born. A way to capture your baby as they are in this time of life. Together, we discuss your session and then I handle the rest. My newborn sessions are simple and beautiful to give you an ever lasting timeless and classic look. The studio has everything your baby could possibly need for their session including diapers and wipes.

-Do we need to bring anything?
Just the basics in your diaper bag. I have diapers, wipes, swaddles, wraps and a fully stocked wardrobe.
-How long do newborn sessions take?
Most sessions are 1.5-3 hours, depending on the collection you choose and your baby's needs that day.
-When should we book?
I recommend reserving your newborn sessions during your second trimester to guarantee availability.
-What if my baby is awake, fussy or needs frequent feedings?
All babies are different- some sleep deeply, some need extra cuddles. I follow your baby's pace and gently work through the session without rushing.
-Can siblings come?
Yes, if you have chosen a collection that includes family. Older siblings are photographed first and then usually head home with a family member to keep the studio peaceful and relaxed.
-Why is the studio warm?
A warm space helps your baby feel cozy and sleepy during sets. Please dress comfortably.
