Meet the Owner: Nora Barman
Happy Hound Adventure is owned and operated by Nora Barman, a professional dog trainer who saw a major gap in education especially when it pertains to babies and dogs.
After having her own daughter, Nora’s pediatrician went through the standard safety checklist, asking questions about stairs, older siblings, pets and so on.
But when it came to dogs, the guidance felt quick, vague and not truly complete.
This moment has stuck with Nora.
As both a dog trainer and a mom, Nora realized that there was truly a lack of education around how to safely and successfully raise babies and dogs in the same home. Since then, Nora has made it her mission to bridge the gap and this is how we now have Happy Hound Adventure.
What Happy Hound Adventures Offers
Happy Hound Adventures recently launched their P.A.W.S. and Pacis Program. These are specifically designed for families with babies, young children and dogs.
The goal is simple but so powerful:
To help families live SAFELY, CALMLY AND HARMONIOUSLY – without fear, confusion or stress.
This program focuses on:
-Education for parents
-Understanding dog behavior
-Positive reinforcement training
-Creating realistic routines
-Preventing unsafe situations
-Building trust between dogs and children
Rather than reacting to the problems, Nora’s approach is proactive- setting families up for long-term success from the very beginning.

Nora wants more families to know: You don’t have to “figure it out as you go.” You can prepare.
Nora offers both in-home and virtual sessions, allowing more support no matter where families are located.
PAWS and Beyond is also offered and that is geared specifically towards families with toddlers and older kids.
